Antech has been working together with NAVSEA and USFF to modernize the Navy’s Planned Maintenance System (PMS) by harnessing new technology, ideas, and processes. This includes updating 3-M policies, simplifying maintenance procedures with digital content, and creating PMS schedules ashore tied to a ship’s specific equipment configuration. The 3-M PMS suite of applications is at the core of this initiative. The Navy’s current PMS Scheduler (SKED), PMS Management Information System (MIS), and 3-M Maintenance Data System (MDS) are being transformed into a cohesive application, which will increase visibility among authors and Sailors and improve 3-M implementation.
