My Information is incorrect. How can I fix it?
Unfortunately, changes cannot be made to this current edition of your School or Organization’s Alumni Directory. Harris Connect’s Customer Service will be glad to update your information for any future publications. Simply call 1-800-877-6554 during business hours (Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm Eastern Standard Time) and a Customer Service representative will assist you.
What does the */**/***/+/++ in the Footnotes Column Mean?
The footnotes legend is located in the Status Bar at the bottom of the Search Party Application Window in the lower-left corner (right above your Start Button and Task Bar)
Do I really have to go through the names one by one?
  1. Enter into the listing of names.
  2. There are two toolbars going across the top of the program (Windows Version Only)
    1. Mac Version: Select The People Button along the toolbar to access the directory.
    2. Then Select the Search Button (Than continue with Step # 5).
  3. The Second Toolbar begins with the Show All Directories Button (which looks like 2 People). The next button is the Home Button (looks like a house), the 5th and 6th Buttons are the Search Directory Buttons (Pair of Black Binoculars). The Binoculars with the Asterisk(*) begins a new search. The Binoculars with the Plus (+) continues your current search.
  4. Select the Binoculars with the Asterisk(*). The Search Directory Window appears.
  5. Select a Search Criteria from the left-hand side (i.e. First Name).
  6. Press the Add >> Button located in the middle of the window.
  7. Enter the Person’s First Name in the input field (which appears at the bottom of the Search Directory Window).
  8. Press the Enter Button to the right of the input field.
  9. Where FirstName= should appear on the right-hand side of the Search Directory Window.
  10. Press the Find Now Button.
  11. The Directory will then be searched and show all records that match what was entered into the First Name field.
  12. You may search with as many different Search Criteria as you wish to narrow down your search.
Can I export the directory list to excel or another format? Can I send a mass email to everyone in my class?
As much as everyone wants to be able to send one bulk email to their old friends, your school or organization wants to keep their alumni and members personal information private, so exporting the data is not possible. This is intended to protect your privacy and prevent members and alumni from receiving unwanted mailings and emails.
